We first met at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Kyle first noticed me while I was still working as a nurse on nights in the ICU. I didn't notice Kyle until he came to the ICU to take an Xray of my patient after I went to day shift. Afterwards, we talked here and there until he followed me on Instagram and then I friended him on Facebook. Next time we talked, Kyle was like "Since we're friends on Facebook now, you should let me know if you want to get together." I said that he could let me know if he wanted to get together. After he left, Kyle asked me out while we were at work.

We had our first date on April 10, 2024. He made reservations and checked the weather in case I had wanted to eat outside. Our first date was seven hours long! We had a great lunch, went shopping on the square in Jasper, then watched Harry Potter; my idea of a perfect date!
